For this project, we were commissioned to produce a sequence where the objective is to simulate advertisements in augmented reality. We had to imagine ourselves in a future where augmented reality lenses would have replaced our mobile phones and, therefore, ask ourselves the question: "How current advertising would adapt to this technology?".
So I imagined a future in which advertisements are so ubiquitous, as they are now, that we are trying to find ploys to make them disappear.
There is therefore no reason that in this future there should not be an ad blocker.
"This is a student project carried out via eikon."
"Margaux, sitting on a bench, patiently waits for her train at the station. She is bored and especially tired of seeing so much advertising on her field of vision. Thanks to her AddStop + application, she has the ability to hide them and even replace them with other elements that she appreciates more. She suddenly meets someone she doesn't want to see: her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend ...
She then instantly blocks the face of this person thanks to her revolutionary plug-in and then escapes this confrontation that she dreads. On her momentum, Margaux also decides to replace the faces of other passers-by with that of her character from her favorite video game."
